Emmanuel Eboue is a former professional footballer from Ivory Coast who primarily played as a right-back. He was born on June 4, 1983, in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. Eboue started his professional career with ASEC Mimosas in Ivory Coast before moving to Europe to play for Beveren in Belgium in 2002.
In 2005, Eboue joined Arsenal in the English Premier League and became a key member of the team under manager Arsene Wenger. He spent seven seasons at Arsenal, making over 200 appearances for the club and winning the FA Cup in 2005.
After leaving Arsenal in 2011, Eboue went on to play for Galatasaray in Turkey, Sunderland in England, and a few other clubs before retiring from professional football in 2016.
Despite his success on the pitch, Eboue has faced personal challenges off the field, including financial difficulties and legal issues. In 2017, he revealed that he was left penniless after a bitter divorce and faced homelessness.
Emmanuel Eboue has since received support from former teammates and football fans, with efforts being made to help him get back on his feet.
